October
3rd Annual FBCDA Bike Ride Hosted by Expose Excellence
This event featured 20, 40, and 55-mile routes protected by law enforcement to ensure a smooth continuous ride from start to finish with zero traffic stops. The bike ride also had a 1K Color Run for Youth plus face-painting! Proceeds from the event benefitted survivors of violent crimes and youth in Fort Bend County.
Cyclists from all over the city came out to support the cause and enjoy a smooth, unobstructed route secured by law enforcement. The event also featured a color run for the youth and physical activity for everyone. Special thanks to all the FBCDA employees and youth volunteers that came out.
The bike ride generated over $40,000 in sponsorships and donations! Proceeds from the event benefit survivors of violent crimes and youth in Fort Bend County through the Fort Bend County Expose Excellence Youth Foundation.
Big thank you to NTV America for being the title sponsor of the 3rd Annual Bike Ride. For more information on future bike rides, be sure to follow us on social media!
Rosenberg PD National Night Out
The Expose Excellence team participated in the Rosenberg Police Department’s #NationalNightOut. It was awesome seeing all of you who came by the table and said hi. We look forward to seeing you all next year!
Fort Bend County Judge Annual Fall Festival
The historic courthouse was buzzing with trick or treaters at the Fort Bend County Judge KP George Fall Festival! The Expose Excellence team had a great time passing out candy, mixing with the county agencies, and seeing the kids all dressed up.
FBC Commissioners Court Workshop Presentation
EEYP presented a 20-minute recap of the accomplishments of the program to the Fort Bend County Commissioners Court. The presentation included statistics on the success of the leadership program and tutoring sessions, and testimonials from students, parents, and school administration.

The EEYP team went to Shared Dreams, an organization that provides assistance to FBISD students, and volunteered their time for a great cause. The team sorted essential clothing like socks and jackets. EEYP encourages both students and adults to volunteer in the community!
SAT Tutorial Session
Expose Excellence hosted 2 free SAT tutoring workshops this semester. We had our largest turn out during the November session at Wharton County Junior College-Richmond campus. The students and parents gave great feedback after the workshop.

EEYP students met in-person and virtually to design a mural with world renowned muralist Reginald C. Adams. The completed mural will be installed in the Fort Bend County Justice Center in 2024. Stay tuned for information on unveiling ceremony!
United Way Fort Bend

Christmas Cheers Howdy Holidays
This year, Expose Excellence Youth Foundation hosted its 2nd annual holiday-themed fundraiser benefitting Fort Bend County Expose Excellence Youth Program at Hampton Inn Sugar Land. We had a howdy ol’ time celebrating another amazing year for the youth program with our amazing supporters. Winners of the “Expose Your Excellence” talent show from the Festival of One gave a phenomenal live performance of the night.
Mrs. Chakilla White and Judge Lewis White donated another $30,000 towards Fort Bend student scholarships! All funds raised will go directly to the Fort Bend County Expose Excellence Program for 2024 community events and youth programming. For more pictures from the event, visit eeyfoundation.com.
